NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING ON PROPOSED SALE OF ASHLAND CITY-OWNED PROPERTY
Pursuant to ORS 221.725 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ashland City Council will hold apublic hearing to discuss the proposed sale of property on August 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, 1175 E. Main Street.
Description of Property: The City of Ashland intends to sell a one-hundred and eighty-eight (188) square-foot portion of the east corner of the property located at 265 North Main Street in Ashland, Oregon to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Proposed uses: The proposed use of the property is to support the Oregon Department of Transportation development of a new Americans with Disabilities compliant curb ramp for the intersection of North Main Street and Laurel Street.
Reason for Sale: The City of Ashland has declared the property surplus, meaning the one-hundred and eighty-eight (188) square-foot portion of the property is no longer required for a current or future municipal needs.
